Matthew Nitzanim
Born in 1995, and raised in Washington, D.C., Matthew is a Washingtonian and Jerusalemite, and is a rabbi and educator. He earned a BA in philosophy at Princeton, where he was deeply involved in Jewish life on campus and the university’s American Red Cross chapter. Following graduation, Matthew trained as a hospital chaplain at PMPH, before making his way to Israel. He has since earned rabbinical ordination, alongside an MA in Bioethics from Bar-Ilan. He is eager to explore Israel’s medical field this year, particularly in the areas of genetics and fertility, and with any luck he’ll learn to play guitar, too.
